LPV9.2 Lakefront Protection Project Using Giken ECO 1400S Silent Piler for Permanent Cutoff Wall in Jefferson Parish, Louisiana
The Press-In System (using Giken ECO1400 S Silent Piler) was used to install a permanent cutoff wall in Jefferson Parish, Louisiana. Prior to our involvement, the sheeting on this project was being installed with a vibratory method. Issues with noise caused the owner and the contractors to seek methods such as the Press-In System to mitigate those complaints from nearby residents in a relatively affluent area. Utilizing this system, work has been conducted in the nighttime as well as typical daytime hours.

Sheet Piling Borehole Data
Borehole data are direct measurements of temperature from boreholes drilled into the Earth’s crust. In Louisiana, you have multiple layers of sand located beneath the Ocean. Every geological area has different Borehole data so it’s important to hire a Giken Silent Piler Sheet Pile Installation contractor that has the experience you can depend on to understand the earth’s surface. Blue Iron, LLC has the Giken Silent Piler experience you can depend on to finish the job at hand.
