Sheet Pile is manufactured with interlocking joints, virtually cutting off any groundwater from entering the project excavation. Sheet Pile interlocks can be seam-welded after installation to provide a permanent water cut-off and can be used as the permanent wall which reduces project budget, dewatering discharge and schedule durations. Sheet Pile has long-life longevity and can be coated to reduce any corrosion. Shafts can be excavated in the “wet” and resist hydrostatic pressure, eliminating the need for exterior dewatering.
Provides water cut-off and allows construction of new structures such as boat ramps, bridge piers, intake structures and drainage pipe within bodies of water. Provides water cut-off below mud line to reduce water inflows below base of excavation. Sheet Pile can be designed to accommodate project layout, lengths and sizes for a multitude of varying construction requirements. Interlock Sealant provides an effective water seal to prohibit the intrusion of water from outside of the cofferdam. It can be designed for temporary or permanent use.
Soldier Beams & Lagging
A diverse support system that can be designed as a cantilever system, braced system, or tied-back system. Low noise and vibration installation when drilling method is selected. Ability to place piles with low overhead equipment. Design can support extremely deep excavations when bracing and tie-back anchors are used. The face of the shoring can be used as a backform for the permanent concrete walls. The case of the solder piles & lagging Is a suitable surface for placing waterproofing.
Helical Anchors & Micropiles
Micropiles can support immense loads with no foundation shifting or settling. Micropiles are well-suited for building foundations in locales with unstable soils and rock surfaces. Micropiles allow for construction in areas with limited access due to significant man-made or natural obstructions. Installation can performed so that facility operations can continue uninhibited. Use of micropiles in construction with underground utilities can mitigate the need to reroute these utilities.
CIDH Pile offers the ability to perform construction in unstable soils that make it dangerous to use pile-driving equipment. CIDH Pile techniques can be utilized in areas with limited access or headroom due to natural and man-made obstructions, such as under or near power lines or trees, or inside existing buildings. Sheet Pile installation utilizing the Giken Silent Piler, is capable of installing sheet pile in sensitive areas where excessive vibration and noise would impact nearby occupants, underground infrastructure, levees or wildlife. We have to capability of installing all types of sheeting, shoring and bracing, plus pumping, dewatering or unwatering. We also have the capability of constructing earthen embankments, providing placement and compaction of engineered fill or placement of rock & rip rap.
